This reserve is situated in Masai country, at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli National Reserve is much smaller than the famous Masai Mara but a paradise for photographers providing a spectacular view of the magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro shining its snow-capped peak on a bright morning. Wild animals such as the buffalo, cheetah, elephant, leopard, yellow-baboon, zebra, famous black-maned Amboseli lion can easily be spotted during game drives. Amboseli also offers an amazing variety of bird-life: Masai ostrich, white pelican, white stork, herons, etc. Accommodation is available in several Lodges found within and outside this reserve.
