Kora National Park is situated along Tana River to the south east of Meru National Park. Also situated to the eastern side of Meru National Park are the Bisanadi, Rahole and North Kitui National Reserves. Access to these areas is not easy and there are no hotels and other necessary facilities for visitors.
Rahole is located in Garissa 380 kilometers from Nairobi. It offers excellent bird viewing. Hippo, crocodile and a wide variety of plains game can also be seen.
