The THE ‘REAL AFRICA’ ECO TOUR is a dynamic, comprehensive and thoroughly enjoyable Echo-tour that gives participants a complete picture of what REAL Africa is.

In the morning we take you on a field trip to a real African village of the “Giriama” people to see their architecture, peasant farming, domestic animals, their abundant children and family life. Here you will see a "Giriama" tinsmith working on his goat-hide bellows to fire his iron items.

You will also meet local artisans weaving reeds mats, hats and baskets for sale. You will be amazed to watch “Giriama” wine trappers as they climb to the top of
60 ft coconut trees to tap coconut wine, “Mnazi”. You will also meet the village witchdoctor. If you are lucky he will “divine” a solution to your “problems”. And who is not lucky in Africa?

You will then be treated to a sumptuous traditional African Buffet at the “Ngomongo Villages”, prepared in the best of African tradition (all inclusive beer and wine).

Having visited a typical rural “Giriama” Village in the morning, we will in the afternoon take you to see 9 different other tribes peoples’ homestead replicas within the scenic and beautiful 3 time international award winner “Ngomongo Villages” park.

Very briefly, in Ngomongo villages, you will see everything there is to see of life in rural Kenya. Africans pounding or grinding maize traditionally, growing their subsistence crops, their large assortment of musical instruments, their domestic and wild animals intimately inter-dependent cultures, fishing methods, archery and other activities.
